good reads

From My Shelf: May 2018

The beginning of May was all about poems and feel goods. I read my all time favorite book- Heart Talk by Cleo Wade. It’s a self-love must-read for sure.

I finished the month with my first ever novel (other than what I was forced to read for school)- All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. My goodness, it was so good that I ended up reading the entire thing in a week. It follows two characters during WWII, a German boy named Werner who’s fascinated by radios and a blind French girl named Marie-Laure who’s father is a master of locks for the Museum of Natural History. Their stories begin separate, then intertwine in such a beautiful way. Definitely a must-read!
